The Vanuatu Cricket Association (VCA) is proud to announce a new partnership with Alpha Insurance, officially launched in Port Vila, marking a significant impact to move forward in supporting the growth of cricket and community development across Vanuatu.
The partnership brings together two organizations aligned in their commitment to building stronger communities, developing future leaders, and expanding opportunities through sport.
Speaking at the launch, VCA Chief Executive Officer Tim Cutler highlighted the importance of meaningful partnerships in sustaining and growing cricket in Vanuatu.

“This is a perfect partnership between two organizations trying to do the same thing, building a stronger and more resilient Vanuatu. Cricket would not be where it is without the partners we have, and support like this gives us continuity and resilience as we build from the bottom up. The more partnerships like this we can have, the less every result affects our ability to plan, invest and support our players properly. We are proud that our national teams are overwhelmingly made up of players born, raised and developed in Vanuatu. That says a lot about the strength of the pathway. Alpha's support means we can run our programs bigger and better, while also receiving important insurance support across the organization.”
Alpha Insurance Group CEO Michael Sherwood emphasized the shared vision between the two organization's and the value of VCA’s leadership within the community.

“What we like about this partnership is the leadership VCA brings to the table and the way it delivers itself to the community through sport. We are strongly focused on providing community support and giving people a leg up along the way, which makes this partnership particularly special. We see real value in VCA’s work around elite pathways, national success and pride, community development and leadership. Vanuatu Cricket does this particularly well, and we are pleased to get in behind the partnership. We look forward to brighter days ahead for Vanuatu, for our business, for the communities of Vanuatu, and for the opportunity for local organization's to do well and flourish.”
Alpha Insurance Head of Insurance Operations, Meitea Natuoivi, also acknowledged the collaborative effort behind the partnership.

“We are proud to stand alongside the Vanuatu Cricket Association and support the continued growth of cricket throughout the country. This partnership is about working together with communities and creating opportunities through cricket. We thank Vanuatu Cricket Association for its leadership and collaboration in bringing this partnership to life.”
The partnership will see Alpha Insurance feature prominently on Vanuatu’s national team apparel, while also providing critical financial and insurance support to the organization. This dual contribution enables VCA to expand its programs, strengthen its high-performance pathways, and continue delivering cricket development initiatives across the country.
From participations in schools and communities to international representation, Vanuatu Cricket continues to demonstrate strong progress, with national teams achieving competitive rankings and proudly representing the country on the global stage.
