ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup EAP Qualifier Concludes in Papua New Guinea

The ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific (EAP) Qualifier concluded on Monday, 13 April in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, with Samoa securing qualification to represent the region at the 2027 ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup. The official presentation ceremony followed the final day of competition (Day 6, Match 10), marking the end of a successful regional tournament.

The event represents a significant milestone in the continued development of women’s cricket. The Vanuatu U19 Women’s Team displayed resilience, determination, and growth throughout the competition, gaining valuable international exposure against some of the region’s strongest emerging sides.

A highlight for Vanuatu was the selection of Susan Stephen in the Team of the Tournament, recognizing her outstanding individual performance and contribution across the campaign.
