PCS Independence Knockout Cup announced for 2025

Power and Communication Solutions continue their support in 2025 with the PCS Independence Knockout Cup, a mid-season tournament run in parallel with the regular club league. It introduces a knockout competition format to bring added intensity and spotlight to key fixtures during the season.

Format:

• The tournament follows a knockout structure: teams that lose a match are eliminated from the competition.

• Eliminators and semifinals are scheduled to coincide with regular league fixtures, ensuring seamless integration into the season.

• The Grand Finals for both Men's and Women's divisions will be held as standalone events on Saturday, 2 August 2025, at Vanuatu Cricket Ground 1 (VCG1).

Women's Division Key Fixtures:

• Eliminator (17 May): Ifira Blackbirds vs Splashe Mele Bulls

• Semi Final 1 (17 May): Paama Sharks vs Winner of Eliminator

• Semi Final 2 (5 July): North Efate Bushpigs vs Tafea Cricket Club

• Final (2 August, 9:00 AM): Winner SF1 vs Winner SF2

Men's Division Key Fixtures:

• Eliminator 1 (24 May): Splashe Mele Bulls vs Paama Sharks

• Eliminator 2 (7 June): North Efate Bushpigs vs Mighty Saints

• Semi Final 1(TBA): Winner Eliminator 1 vs Winner Eliminator 2

• Semi Final 2(14 June): Tafea Sandalwood vs Tusker Panthers

• Final (2 August, 1:00 PM): Winner SF1 vs Winner SF2
