The Vanuatu Cricket Association (VCA) is proud to announce its collaboration with the Vanuatu National Youth Council (VNYC) on the exciting new initiative, “Come Try Out Cricket Day.” This two-week program is designed to engage young people in meaningful, fun, and healthy activities through the sport of cricket.

VNYC fully supports this initiative and recognises the positive impact it will have on youth development and community engagement. As part of this partnership, VNYC will take the lead in mobilising young people from across the five Ward Council Areas of Port Vila, as well as nearby rural communities.
“We believe this program offers a fantastic opportunity for youth to connect, stay active, and learn new skills through sport,” said Joe Kalo, Principal Administrator, Vanuatu National Youth Council. “We are excited to work closely with VCA to bring cricket into our communities and provide inclusive opportunities for all.”
Currently, VNYC is coordinating with local youth structures to finalise logistics and identify suitable venues. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to youth empowerment and community well-being through sport and recreation.
