Women's National Team Set to Challenge Japan in T20I Series Ahead of ICC Women's T20WC EAP Qualifier


With the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup EAP Qualifier just a week away, the Vanuatu National Women's Cricket Team is set to engage in a T20I Bilateral Series against Japan before the tournament. Ranked 37th among 64 nations on the ICC Women’s T20I rankings, Vanuatu aims to utilize this series to improve their standing.


The T20I series will occur on August 28th and August 30th at the Vanuatu Cricket Grounds, beginning at 1:30 PM. Following the series, the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup EAP Qualifier will take place from September 1st to September 8th, featuring teams from the Cook Islands, Fiji, Samoa, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Japan, and Vanuatu. The tournament's victor will advance to the Global Final, a gateway to the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
