Northern Nasara cruised to a commanding 7-wicket victory over Southern Imaem in the Women's North vs South T20 clash at Vanuatu Cricket Grounds on July 12. Southern Imaem, batting first, struggled to build momentum, totalling just 90 for 8 in their full 20 overs. Their innings featured late resistance from Natalia Kakor and Salina Reve, who remained unbeaten on 6 and 10, respectively, but overall scoring was subdued, highlighted by only a single boundary.
Northern Nasara responded with calm efficiency. Their openers built a steadfast foundation, and the top order chipped away with measured confidence. The target was reached with 91 for 3 in just 14.2 overs, sealing victory with more than five overs to spare.
A standout performance came from Joy Mansale, whose disciplined opening spell of 4 overs for 16 runs and two wickets set the tone early, stifling Imaem’s batting efforts and paving the way for the chase.

The win cements Northern Nasara’s position atop the round-robin standings, maintaining their unbeaten streak as the tournament nears the knockout phase. Their success underscores a balanced approach—solid bowling up front, and confident, calculated batting through the middle.
Southern Imaem will take valuable notes from their bowlers’ spirited efforts and the late fight shown by Kakor and Reve. As the series continues, both teams will look to sharpen strategies and build upon Saturday's performances.
The North vs South Women’s T20 series has quickly gained attention as a showcase for emerging talent, and this fixture did not disappoint, marking another strong chapter in Vanuatu's vibrant cricket narrative.
